Weather Related Delay or Cancellation Policy

 

The event could be delayed by severe weather (i.e. fog or lightening). The Waupaca County Sheriffs Department will advise the Board Chairman of weather that could delay or cancel the event for the safety of the participants, volunteers and local traffic. That decision would be announced on site over the loud speaker, on WDUX FM 92.7/800AM, the event announcer and through Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) operators to the people on the course.

 

The only reason the event would be delayed or cancelled is for your safety or civil emergency. There will be no refunds for cancellation of the event. Registration gift will be mailed.

 

The Waupaca Area Triathlon will make every effort to have a safe event. Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lost Child / Misplaced Parent Policy

 

Lost children should be brought to the registration area where they will be attended to. The announcer and Board Chairman will be informed and issue any announcements.
